Wrecked Race cars

Tiff Or Joe....I know they have rules you cant change engines in a wrecked car, But when is "enough enough" and NASCAR would step in and say no way! Or would they? And what are your opinions? Mine are, outside of A LITTLE sheetmetal and Minor repairs ....But suspension, transmission and frame straightening and such oughta be nixed! I think the Kyle Busch incident 2 weeks ago proved to be an utter waste of time money and possibly the safety of everyone On the track

Saturday Night Racing on short tracks

What I would like to see, along with all my racing buddies, is a real Saturday night shoot-out with all racers qualifying on speed and time, then put in compsies and mains and then the feature. This way everybody that shows up with a car that passes the NASCAR criteria can run. Have ten laps of anything goes and let these guys earn their way to the feature. How fun would it be to watch some old-fashioned racing with new cars and a real mix of drivers with all levels of experience and ages....

Hi Joe

My name is Don Kershner. They call me T-bone. I think Nascar needs to make more ways to get points. One way I think it would make things more interesting. Give the drivers points for qualifying. Give 5 points for pole and then 4 points for second, 3 for third, and 2 fourth, and 1 point for 5th. This would make the drivers try harder on qualifying day. Not just go out and settle for what ever you could get. If points are involved. Then...

Darlington turned out to be pretty intresting for us, we won tickets from you guys took off went down there camping , now I have been to allot of tracks but this was the first time I was down there, Definately a different place ...kinda made me feel like I stepped back to the 80s a bit , the back stretch still had the old pepsi logos and stuff and some of the concrete was cracking ...pretty old place ...highlight of the weekend had to go to the camping place across the street mr...

Nextel vision

Tiffany I know at one point you were involved with Nextel Vision at the race track ...Do you think they will ever get to a point where they are sending streaming video like the fan vision hand helds to cell phones ...I guess this is more of a technical question . But when Nextel took over the series a few years ago I heard an idea like this kicked around...heard anything like this?

Ethanol/ Methanol

When you guys have that talk this week about ethanol or methanol ...dont forget to ask about how much more of that fuel its gonnna take to run to = out the same distance as the fuel ...remember your not going to get the same amount of fuel mileage with these karts if you start using a fuel such as that so it will play a big factor gas mileage wise ...how that will affect the COT ? thats a whole different issure entirely with concerns about heat and a hotter burn ..this could bring up some...

NASCAR lawsuit

What is this lawsuit about with Kentucky speedway?... I was cornered in the beer line and signed the petition... I did get a cool bumper sticker that says "I Heart NASCAR, Sue me" they said that one of the dates that could be lost would be Sears Point.... Is this a serious problem?

I was in a Cingular store earlier today and their manager told me that Jeff Burton and anyone else who drives a car sponsored by a cell phone company (Ryan Newman, anyone else?) will have to find new sponsors soon because of the Sprint/Nextel sponsorship of the races.
Have you heard of this? I can't believe it is true -

Last year I saw a pit stop in Jr.s' pit and when the front tire changer pulled the tire off the right side he rolled it to his right so the carrier can run around and grab the tire on his way to getting the left side tire,BUT the tire started to roll out towards pit road and the official grabbed the tire and rolled it back into the path off the carrier keeping it from rolling out of the box.... this year at pocono someone (I can't remember who) was behind the wall after an incident they were...
